Peace means many different things to the believer–the peace we have with God through Christ’s atonement for sin, the internal peace we experience as His Spirit develops His fruit in us, and the peace the whole world will one day experience under His reign. My new Christmas song, “This Child Shall Be Our Peace” explores the meaning of Micah’s prophecy: the child born in Bethlehem, “this One will be our peace” (v. 5).
